rivers, roads, rails & trailsClimb aboard with The Sidetrackers and you’ll feel like Pullman passengers as these rambling rounders regale you with music. They’re driven by their desire for flanged wheels to reoccupy the abandoned roadbeds of the Catskills, but they don’t let this obsession limit their traveling music to the rails. You’ll be encouraged to sing along with old familiar folk songs and you just might learn some new ones: songs of railroaders; canallers; river travel; the high seas; perhaps even the high peaks of the Catskill Mountains or the bygone days of the Hudson Valley.
Blending a variety of stringed instruments with enchanting vocal harmonies, and occasionally joined in performance by their sweet singing wives and other outstanding musical friends, this is a fine pair of Clickety-Clackin’, Train-Whistle-Blowin’, Blues-Moanin’, Good-Time Minstrels. The Sidetrackers are a mighty team of two relentless railroad disciples who bring Train Songs and Trainloads of Fun everywhere they go. |
